LookingGlass Executive Laurie Potratz Named 2017 CRN Channel Chief

Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances Recognized for Implementing Cyber Guardian Network

RESTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–LookingGlass Cyber Solutions™, a leader in threat intelligence driven security, today announced CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, named Laurie Potratz, Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances, to an elite group of the 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs of 2017. The 50 influencers are hand-picked from a larger pool of Channel Chief honorees that display leadership in driving the channel agenda and emphasizing the importance of channel partnerships.

Potratz joined LookingGlass with the goal of establishing the strategic direction and processes required to execute a world-class partner program. Following the company’s acquisition of three companies in 2015, she was also charged with unifying LookingGlass’ existing partner programs, to accelerate partner successes and execution of the strategic partner plan.

Potratz was instrumental in creating the LookingGlass Cyber Guardian Network, a unified global partner program to assure that LookingGlass approaches the business from the partner point of view, with partner investment protection, enablement, and responsiveness as key elements. Under Portratz’s lead, LookingGlass has successfully grown its international partner base, expanding into Asia, Africa, the Middle East, India and Europe, and now reporting equally as many partners internationally as in North America. Potratz was also responsible for implementing a state-of-the-art Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system designed to give all partners, regardless of location, a self-service system for sales support, technical and sales enablement, joint business planning, and cooperative marketing investment.

“Laurie’s unwavering commitment to integrity, transparency, and flawless sales execution makes her an asset to the LookingGlass executive team and our channel partners,” said Pete Agresta, Chief Revenue Officer. “In 2017, we expect to see increases in our channel sales and the number of channel partners we work with – due in large part to Laurie and her team for creating a strong, unified global partner program.”

With over 20 years of experience driving indirect and direct revenue, ensuring customer success, delivering global Go-To-Market programs and corporate Channel and Distribution strategy, Laurie Potratz excels at developing and executing targeted Channel strategies focused on cybersecurity, networking, Cloud solutions, storage, and virtualization. She was also named to CRN’s 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2011 Women of the Channel: Power 100 and CRN’s 100 People You Don’t Know But Should.

Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff based on their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Channel Chiefs have demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the IT channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding channel partner programs.
