LookingGlass Cyber Solutions Inaugurates New Corporate Headquarters

Enhanced Security Operations Center Strengthens Threat Intelligence Offering

Reston, VA – March 22, 2017—LookingGlass® Cyber Solutions, a leader in threat intelligence-driven security, today announced that they have relocated their headquarters to a 20,000 sqft office in Reston, Virginia. The company formerly occupied an office at 11091 Sunset Hills Road, and is moving to its newly designed space at 10740 Parkridge Blvd to accommodate its employee growth and next generation Security Operations Center (SOC).

LookingGlass was enthused to find space that met the needs of their 140 local staff while supporting future growth. The new office, nearly double in square footage compared to the previous, provides a collaborative workspace for employees, as well as a state-of-the-art Security Operations Center (SOC) complete with a 30 foot wall of monitors. The new SOC will allow the LookingGlass Cyber Security Center team to work together on unique projects with the latest technology, ultimately strengthening the threat intelligence services that LookingGlass provides to their customers and partners.

“We are excited to move into our new office space, which represents a new chapter in the LookingGlass strategy,” said Chris Coleman, CEO at LookingGlass. “The past two years have been focused on expanding the LookingGlass brand including the acquisitions of CloudShield, Kleissner & Associates and Cyveillance. Our end-to-end solution portfolio uniquely positions LookingGlass to help organizations anticipate and evolve with the threat landscape.”

LookingGlass continues to expand its portfolio to better serve existing customers and the business community at large. In January, they announced the commercial availability of scoutSHIELD™ Threat Intelligence Gateway, an automated, high assurance, low-touch, security appliance designed to operationalize threat intelligence in an organization’s network. scoutSHIELD delivers malware and phishing protection with a demonstrated accuracy of over 99.99 percent and auto-quarantines devices that have been compromised, preventing their contact with the Command and Control (C2) servers.

In February, LookingGlass proudly announced that scoutPRIME® is the first threat intelligence platform to implement the newly emerging STIX 2.0 standard, which helps to facilitate the sharing of threat intelligence using open standards. This move reinforced LookingGlass’ firm belief in open standards and threat information sharing, and assured that they will continue to be at the forefront of adoption and integration of new STIX standards as they are published.

Additionally this quarter, LookingGlass launched its Cyber Guardian Network Partner Portal, an easy-to-use, protected resource that grants LookingGlass partners round-the-clock access to sales and technical enablement with the ultimate goal of increasing partner productivity and expanding their business.

LookingGlass’ commitment to high-quality technology, customer service and partner readiness makes them a driving force in the threat intelligence community. For more information,
