LookingGlass Cyber Solutions CEO Chris Coleman Selected as EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 Award Finalist in Mid-Atlantic Region

Reston, VA – May 9, 2018 – LookingGlass® Cyber Solutions, a leader in threat intelligence-driven security, today announced that its CEO, Chris Coleman, is a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year® Award in the Mid-Atlantic region. This awards program recognizes the entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in areas such as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Under Coleman’s leadership, LookingGlass has expanded its capabilities and reach, while maintaining laser focus on its mission: to defend its customers from threats, whether they emerge as traditional threats to technology and networks, threats to business operations, brand reputation, or physical threats. To holistically support customers’ cybersecurity defenses with an arsenal of advanced threat solutions, Coleman helped LookingGlass secure more than $76 million in funding and led the company through its strategic acquisitions of Cyveillance, CloudShield LLC, and Kleissner and Associates. Coleman also spearheaded the acquisition of a key piece of technology from Goldman Sachs, the Sentinel™ threat intelligence platform, which received the 2015 UK Technology Banking Award for “Best Cyber-Security Initiative” for its technology and role in critical infrastructure protection.

The company has also expanded its presence in key markets around the globe with the launch of its partner program, the Cyber Guardian Network™ Partner Program. More than 50 companies and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) have joined the Cyber Guardian Network, including CenturyLink, Tech Mahindra, and Solition Systems.

“I am honored to be selected as a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in the Mid-Atlantic region, and I share this recognition with my colleagues as it is a testament to our collective dedication and hard work,” said Coleman. “LookingGlass’ vision is to build a comprehensive threat portfolio to address increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks, and our growth in the past few years through strategic acquisitions and purchase of key technology continues to drive us towards that goal.”

Now in its 32nd year, the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards program recognizes business leaders in over 145 cities and more than 60 countries around the world. For more information about the awards program, visit
