Phishing Activity: TOP TARGETS
Week of May 14 – May 20, 2017
This week, we saw a decrease in phishing activity for the top 20 brands we’re tracking, grouped by industry. Overall activity increased >5%. The industry with the biggest increase was the same as last week, Internet Search and Navigation Services at >65%, followed by Storage and Systems Management Software at >30% and Electronic Payment Systems at >25%.
The industries with the biggest decreases in phishing activity were Computer Hardware (>15%), Banking (>10%), and Social Networks (>10%).

The percentages posted on our blog are based on the sum of the phishing threats of the top 20 brands, and do not include anything below the top 20 threshold.
