A significant change is taking place in the area of social media monitoring and we want to reach out to you to explain what is happening and the next steps we here at Cyveillance will be taking.

Facebook is shutting down an API that nearly all social media monitoring and third-party applications have used for years to query for specific posts and events. All companies who provide such services are affected. A new, separate Facebook API will offer aggregate information about brand mentions and trends. We are investigating the details of this new API and evaluating its potential utility in serving our customers, and we will continue to update you once the new API is available for evaluation.

We are confident that our combination of technology and expert analysts will continue in providing you with the very best intelligence from the Web, social media and the Internet underground. Please do not hesitate to contact your client manager with any questions. We look forward to serving you.
